Good heart is always repaid with rewards.
Once upon a time, there was a little boy who called himself Paul. As he came from an extremely poor family, he had no choice but to raise money to support his study by selling household products from one house to another.
One hot afternoon, as usual, he walked from one house to another to sell the products. However, his luck was bad to get him sold even one item of the products. Walking and walking, he could fell he had less energy to walk further. He was thinking of eating something to get his deflated stomach filled. While he was searching some pennies from his pocket, he could only find one penny left. He started wondering what he could get with only one penny. Thinking of this, tears started rolling down from his cheeks, as he had not enough money even to buy a glass of plain water. He was hungry to move even a step and thus he collapsed near one cottage house.
When he woke up, he found himself in a peculiar house. His eyes started roaming around the house. In front of him, there rooted a pretty young lady. The lady smiled at him while handling a glass of hot milk to him. He drank the milk greedily and contentedly. The lady pointed outside and said, “I saw you fainting outside yesterday. Then, I rested you on this bed while washing your wounds.”
Paul replied, “Thanks for your kindness. How much do I have to pay you for a glass of milk?”
The lady introduced her as Jane and said, “You don’t have to pay me.” Looking at the eyes of Paul, she added, “My mom says never ask for any rewards for doing good deeds.”
Paul then continued, “Thanks. Your good heart is like a bright star in the sky.”
Waving his hands to Jane, Paul walked towards the door and bid farewell to her, “Goodbye, see you again, beautiful girl! Take care!”
When Paul stepped forward, he found his energy had restored for him to talk further. He began continuing his journey to the end of the road.
Several years later, Jane was diagnosed to suffer from a chronic disease. The doctors were not willing to treat her strange disease. Then, her family sent her home and at the same time her family was trying hard to look for a doctor who could cure her disease. She almost lost hope as many doctors were unable to treat her. However, at this very critical moment, someone had employed Dr. Paul to treat her.
