A story that I decided to rite because Christmas was kinda boring for me this year :P .

The Unknown Effect

The faint Noises of the cars quietly echo into my ears. Mediating, I slowly fade into my own world. Everything is silent, still…perfect. None of my muscles tightened, my body as relaxed as a sloth. Breathing in and out, my chest expands and contracts as my faded red cotton shirt slightly tickles my body.

“Mom, do you know where my purse is?”

Fading back into the real world, I sighed “No honey, check the car, and why do you need it anyways?”

“I’m going to Chevallee’s house today”

“Oh alright, be back before ten tonight”

I watched Laura step out the front door and walk down the cement driveway. I slowly drifted back into my world. Everything was almost perfect again. This was different; I was much hotter then usual. I started sweating in panic, my body tightened. Vision blurred, heart pounded, I didn’t know what was happening to me! I screamed in pain as my muscle felt like they were ripped away from my bones. My blurred vision started to fade blood red. I tried to escape my head, but it was impossible. My hands felt like they were on fire, everything in my body burnt. I started to breath heavily, everything was slow motion. I sat there in shock.

Everything just stopped, turn back to normal. The only thing I could fell was a slight headache and a pounding heart. Everything I heard was deafening. My vision was fine. What felt like and hour was only five minutes. I don’t know what just happened to me, but something was wrong.

I slowly stood up on my feet. Lightheaded I walked to the phone and decided to call my doctor. I Dialed and placed the phone on my soft light brown hair. As the phone rang, the loudness of the speaker worsened my headache.

“Hello, thank you for calling Dover Clinic, how may I help you?”

“Hi, this is Joanne Youngstown, may I talk to Dr. Dover Please?” I eagerly replied.

“Yes, one second I’ll transfer you over to him”

Our conversation went on for ten minutes talking about what happened. Dr. Dover decided I should get some rest for today and go see a psychologist tomorrow. I deicide to wait for Chevallee to get home, then I would get some rest.
