By Bryan Wegman.

I think he said 38 Westgate drive. I could have sworn it. Westgate is on my left as I walk down the sidewalk by myself. With a case of beer in my hand. I reach down and pick another one out and crack it. I beginning to feel the effects of the alcohol taking a hold of me. The side walk becomes more and more insulting with every step. Pinpointing my every misstep and stagger. Walking with my head down looking at the ground I attempt to time my step size perfectly that I will never step on a crack. Two perfect steps in each square without ever touching the cracks. I look up to see where I am I must be here. I hear music pouring into the streets out of the windows from this house and a group of girls huddled outside smoking cigarettes. I walk past them to the door and they all give me a smile. I smile back and open the door to go inside and look for someone that I may know. Immediately as I walk through the door I realize I’m at the wrong house. The house is filled with only girls. Forget the other party. I say in my head walking in to the kitchen with such excitement. I’ll wait it out for them to kick me out, but for now I’ll hang out. As I walk to the kitchen all the girls smile at me as I pass. I smile back stumbling a bit from not paying attention to where I’m going and they giggle at me. I walk into the kitchen and see what appears to be a cute looking blond girl. A nice figure, so I decide this will be the girl I will talk to. I set my beer down on the table next to her and tap her shoulder to get her attention and see what she looks like.
“Hey there.” I say as she turns around and faces me. As she turns I can see she really isn’t as cute as I thought she would be. She has a very masculine looking face and a wide jaw. She smiles at me and opens her mouth to talk and in a deep masculine voice I hear over the music.
“Hey honey what’s a guy like you doing here”
Stunned I look around. Deep roars echo the room. Oh shit.
