A short story I wrote somewhat based on a plot given to me by a friend. It will make the hairs on the back of your neck rise.

Jade steps out of her rackety old door, slamming it on her way out, every time she stepped out of that door a feeling overcame her, a feeling she hated, a feeling of fear. She would always feel as if someone was watching her every move, or that someone was following her. She left her house to go to her boyfriend Jay’s house, he was the one person who can make her completely forget that feeling, he means a lot to her and vice versa for him. She gets in to her old 91’ Honda and drives off. Even as she is driving she feels paranoid, she nervously looks to her rearview mirror to see if there is anyone behind her.

She arrives at her boyfriend’s and anxiously runs out of the car closing the door so quick that it was almost slammed, she was anxious because now, the feeling was gone.

*DING DONG*

“Hey babe, come on in,” she walked gave him a kiss and they sat on the couch. “So what do you want to do tonight?”

“I’m in the mood for a horror!” she said excitedly.

“Let’s go to the movies,” he quickly replied, she instantly agreed. “Let’s watch that old one that we haven’t watched yet so it won’t be packed and we can have more privacy.”

“Deal,” she replied. “How about you stop talking and we get going mister,” She smiled and stuck his tongue out at him. Off they went…

“Two tickets for “Alone in the Dark” please,” Jay said to the ticket cashier.

“Hey! You’re not paying for me!” said Jade as the cashier printed out the tickets, Jay ignored her.

“19.60 please,” said the cashier in a grim, chilling voice.
