When you share with others you bring cheer to someone’s day, you bring delight to Gods heart and you bring joy to your day. This way, everybody wins.

This way, everybody wins

“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister” (Heb. 6:10 King James Version)

When we do a labour of love toward others it makes God happy. No matter if it is a big deed or a little one, they are all precious to Him.

I like to live by one of the creeds in The Boy Scouts: do a good deed every day. Maybe you can make a list of good deeds you would like to share with others. But, an adventurous thing to do is to pray for Jehovah to provide you with an opportunity to do a good deed and then open your eyes to the gift He has given you. I say a gift because just as an unexpected present makes you happy, so too does an unexpected opportunity to do a good deed.

It makes for an interesting day that is for sure.

Do not go through your day looking for when or how God will deliver His unique gift to you. Just go through your normal day, He will deliver the opportunity at the right time and place.

For me it almost always happens in an oddball situation. It most times makes me laugh about it later.

When you share with others you bring cheer to someone’s day, you bring delight to Gods heart and you bring joy to your day. This way, everybody wins.

Prayer: Jehovah Jireh (God our provider) I eagerly look forward to the surprise You have predestined for me today to share a good deed with someone in special need. It does not matter whether it is a big deed or a little deed, they are all important to You. In the name of the one who gave us the most extravagant gift of all Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.

May the sweet sunshine of Jesus’ love bless you today and every day.

I do feel really good after doing a good deed, so I believe it’s a gift too.
