Short story to help you believe there is more to life than this and how to start to find it.

I found myself with a new person in my life in every sense of the word. There is a fair bit going on at the moment in her life; there are the last throws of forth year at Uni. just for starters, she was up with the lark(as far as I am concerned eight o’clock is early) this morning tapping away on the abacus making words, whilst I, lazy excuse for a human that I am, attempted to become a sloth in bed clothing. a metamorphosis I feel I managed to accomplish with reasonable aplomb. I gave myself until nine fifteen(in the morning) until I was going to unravel myself from my cocoon. A few seconds passed after I had seen from the clock that my pupal stage was over and should rise like a butterfly reborn in the morning (yeah right! Me want be sloth little longer.) before I managed to put my hands down to get myself vertical the door had opened and a big hot mug of fresh coffee floated into the room, sadly it was not a vision of my minds making instead my girlfriend was attached lightly to the handle. Attached to her was a gleeful smile that spread willingly across her face. now I am sure many of you think well that’s just coincidence; its early morning she did it as a treat, she knew when I would be up. In a great deal of ways I think you are right. But how many coincidences can bring one person into your life and bring a coffee into a room it a bit like betting on ten horses in ten races in ten countries. I wouldn’t want to see the odds but I love the reward to my gamble just exactly when you need it. I don’t think we will ever know the full answer to that one, nor do I ever think we should, but I do know it happens a lot with me. It gives me a cosy feeling inside just knowing that it happens and happens to others also, a little more than occasionally that is what is truly spell binding to me. It is useful to know that this particular phenomenon happens often as a product of thoughtfulness. Oh yes, as I was saying, thoughtfulness, is it the vehicle or the outcome of what we seek? Just be careful what you wish for. There I go, meandering off the subject again.
