During the summer, Elizabeth Bond who has just gotten out of fifth grade has to watch both of her bffs leave. Santhoshini had to go for the whole summer. But Annie only had to go for one month. Elizabeth was really sad when they left but her feelings were uplifted a little bit because Santhoshini let her take care of Snowball, her hamster for the summer. Elizabeth was the happy type she wasn’t usually sad. But at ten years old, and lonely with her computer broken, she was very very sad. Annie still wasn’t back but Elizabeth wasn’t worried. Annie would come in about ten days.
