October 08, 2009 – In a state known for mysterious disappearances of people, Bobby Jamison, his wife Sherilynn, and young daughter Madyson headed off to the Oklahoma mountain side to check into purchasing a plot of land. It was their intent to purchase a shipping container home and live within the hills.

On October 17th, their abandoned truck was discovered by hunters. Inside the truck were their IDs, cell phones, and a substantial amount of cash. Also inside of the truck was the family dog, nearly dead of starvation and dehydration. Despite the cold weather, the family’s coats were left inside of the truck. Upon investigation of their cell phones, there were a few pictures of little Madyson, taken the very day that the family was last reported as being seen.

Due to the extremely rugged terrain and uncooperative weather, equine seach teams and search dogs were not brought in to assist until the last week in October. It has been recently reported that Bobby Jamison claims to have seen demons upon the roof of their home and spoken to a local minister about it. There have been no other leads in their disappearance.

Missing since October 2009 from Eufala, Oklahoma

December 14, 2009 was the last time that anyone can report seeing the Szczepanik family in Omaha, Nebraska. Vanderlei & Jacqueline Szczepanik, along with their young son Christopher, were missionaries visiting from Brazil in order to assist in renovating an old school building into a new church. The family was staying at a church center where an odd scene that would repeat itself only months later a thousand miles away. Food was discovered rotting on the table. The family computer was still running. Several checks were discovered, uncashed.

There was no indication that the family had made plans or had intended to leave. Some time later, both family vehicles were discovered abandoned at different locations in the city. Since their disappearance, Jacqueline’s daughter has made trips from Brazil to Nebraska in the hopes of learning the fate or location of her family. Like the Jamison family, they too, have not been seen or heard from since.
