Those that could afford to live in a mansion would take your home away from you without blinking an eye. Mike thought about how his great grand father had formed the family ranch back in the eighteen hundreds. Shouldn’t time travel save everyone financially?

Time travel inevitable when unemployment hit you. Mike had been an assistant manager at the cattle feed lot on the north edge of Clayton. He had been hit just as sharply as all the other employees when the owner had messed things up so badly his two cattle feed lots had been forced out of business. Now he couldn’t even get any of the surrounding ranchers to lease some of his pasture. They all figured Mike would take care of the cattle just as badly as his former employer had. Shouldn’t raveling back in time keep your life life’s savings from being lost when you boss messes up?
