I started smoking at 12. I always got suspended at school but in 6th grade I was doing better — no suspensions, which was huge because I would get suspended every week. I started smoking and I knew the first time it felt good and that i’d be doing it for a while and think about quitting later. I loved weed — I bought an eighth for 20.

The first bag i ever bought and i bought a swisher for it too even though i wasnt experienced at rolling. but as soon as i got the bag of weed, i wanted the world to know i was smoking with my sister’s boyfriend.

A group of girls walk by that i went to school with and they wanted to smoke — they’ve seen me and my friend from school and a bunch of older kids that were my sister’s boyfriend. i didn’t pass them anything — i always tried to stay smart when it came to weed but as soon as people started getting annoyed of me they told someone that i had it. the principal pulled me out of recess to search me. she found the bag and i was suspended. i went the rest of 6th grade on a weird schedule but made it through the school year.

In 7th grade i slowed down with weed until i moved to samuel jackman middle school. i started smoking crazy weed every day making all kinds of money just for smoking with friend, never selling weed and i was forever getting it and it was easier because i had to only pay 15 dollers for a ounce of cannibis.

I stopped thinking around 8th grade — i was never sober for school the whole term i was doing well — no suspensions, kept up good grades –Cs and Bs and As — but i was caught with a ounce off weed at the end of the term and was suspended. all my grades dropped, so i had Fs Ds Cs and Bs.

My parents didnt care if i smoked because it was natural high and did all the work i needed — chores and homework basically and i was hanging out during my suspension, meeting friends after school to smoke. After three days i returned and i was caught again with 71 grams. now, at 14 im scared to death if i can stay at school or what will happen next.
