An alien force threatens earth and six youths are there in the front lines whether they wanted to or not.

Earth, a small planet in the Milky Way Galaxy. The dominate species: humans, a carbon based life form that has succeeded in traveling to Earth’s only moon. Humans have been living on earth for several millennium surviving war, plague, and famine.

But earth is about to experience its most troubling years yet, for not twenty light years away, a fleet of battle hardened warships await the report of their lone recon trooper. The enemy? Glorthoks, a large, also carbon based life form, who has seen more wars than all people on earth that have ever existed. A warrior race, who take pride in the amount of blood they shed. Similar to humans in physique, but many centuries more advance. With vessels that can travel from one side of a galaxy to the other, they wait, behind a planet, out of view of human space telescopes.

Their leader, Okathu, has set his sights on earth with hopes of conquering it, to claim it under the Glorthok flag, and to enslave it. Earth’s only hope is a half-dozen teenagers, just out of high school. Will they be able to save Earth from the Glorthok armada? Or will Earth burn under an interplanetary war?

“Come on guys, we gotta go!” said Falkier waiting. He and his friends were going out to the country for camping and to watch the lunar eclipse.

“Rebecca can’t find her toothbrush,” explained Lauren, one of Falkier’s friends.

“We’ll get one at the dollar store. Let’s go! We gotta pick up Sam and Shelly.” He yelled as a red truck pulled up behind his. Jason, another of his friends got out and saluted him.

“What’s up?”

“Rebecca is taking forever.” Falkier complained.

“Well, we better move if we want to beat the traffic.” Jason pointed out the fact that if they left at 6:30 a.m., they wouldn’t get caught in the rush hour traffic on their way to the cabin.

“It is quarter after six now, and we still gotta get S&S.” What Falkier meant by S&S was Sam and Shelly.

“Okay, I’m ready, lets go,” Rebecca just came out of the house.

Later, at Sam’s house Falkier was worried about the weather. “It might rain; we should get a couple of umbrellas.” Sam, who was a techno genius, placed his worries at ease.
