irreconcilable differences
you saw it coming but refused to acknowledge. Certainly you’re in denial for fear of unknown.
“My friends at my workplace know his womanizing behavior, his unacceptable manners irritate most of my co-workers”. Alex told her lawyer. Everyday, Alex gets an unsolicited advice from her peers. But she remained “deaf” and blind. Doug oftentimes made a pass with some of Alex’s attractive office mates whenever he showed up in her office, who in turn, would report the incident to Alex, direct or indirectly. The relationship was based on poor foundation, it went on and off. The last break-up lasted six months. There were no communication between them. They went on their separate ways. Doug, according to friends, went back to his ex- who later on, got pregnant. Alex on the other hand met a decent young professional, who manages his family’s business. Andy was the exact opposite of Doug. Their relationship started to bloom, until one day, she got a surprise visit from her ex. Until then, he never stopped showing up, in her workplace and even in her home. He was a changed man. She refused to entertain him, she shove him away, insulted and humiliated him with people. He never gave up. He wooed her for the past 2 and a half months. Doug was a different person from way back then. And she totally buys it. Andy, on the other hand, was infuriated and despised her moronic infatuation of him. Until one day Andy had enough of it, and broke off with her. She was badly ruined by their break-up.
one after the other
Crushed and rejected, she eventually accepted Doug back into her life. It wasn’t long she realized that the man she married was a” Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde”. It didn’t surprise her though…she kinda expected it. Afterall, she’s been with him once and have known his true color.
Now, she’s one unhappy married woman who’s been wanting, dreaming and contemplating of “getting out” of her marriage…but couldn’t.
