A fictional short story novel about an adventure by three friends in the jungles of Africa. It will make your blood flow with excitement.

With our savings for the year we could afford some good packages after all if you want to enjoy fully why not go for the best, Joy our travel agent was very helpful she gave us all the information we needed what to carry for the trip and all the required paperwork that we needed.

We had 3 days to go before we set off to the wild, in order to involve all of us we delegated roles amongst ourselves who would do the shopping for our groceries and all camping tools, we also had to assemble a first aid kit and gather information on how to do first aid, since we were going to be in the jungle anything could happen and we had to be fully equipped in case any of us needed first aid. Each of us had a checklist just to make we don’t forget those vital tiny things like matchboxes, candles, toilet paper among other things.

We prepared with so much excitement we were like little kids who had been served with sweets!

The shopping and preparation was very exciting, we giggled and laughed like little kids as we bought all that we needed for the trip.

Being our last day in Town we decided that it was a wise thing to retire home early and do the final individual packing and also have an early bedtime just so that we wake up fresh the next day.

We were to start our travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park by 6:00 a.m. in order to get while it was still daylight.

The night seemed longer than usual, I turned and tossed in my bed while I thought about the exciting time we would have in the wild. The anxiety within stopped me from sleeping and before I knew it my alarm clock had gone off it was 5:00 a.m. in the morning! I had not even had an ounce of sleep and it was time to get ready well I consoled myself with the fact that I would be able catch some sleep while on the way.

Since I lived nearer to town than the rest, I was to be picked up first, and then Amani and Kanga who lived in the same estate would be picked up last. I made myself a cup of coffee as I waited for my bathing water to heat up and after that I got ready and made sure that my bag was packed well, and those minutes of waiting for the Tour guide to pick me up seemed longer than 30 minutes, a combination of anxiety and excitement was at in play.
