Jenna View and her friend Barry Finder had purchased two front row seats to watch Mickey Mcgoogal perform his farewell Live SHOW on stage. It was a full house, as expected, but this was not going to be just another of Mickey’s shows. It was going to be his farewell show. Even the security men were having problems as crowds of fans pushed their way through the doors.
“Oih, watch it!” Called out one of them as the doors were barged aside in a public frenzy.
“Let me in, let me in!” “Mickey, I LOVE you!!!” Screamed a young lady.
“Oh, move aside!” Complained a grumpy old man with his cane. The security had to be tightened and more men were called, some of whom were bouncers. They actually had to lift some of the people and placed them aside.
“Hey George, help me lift this guy up and move him to the side.”
“Sure, Fred.” Replied his accomplice. And so, when Jenna and Barry finally reached the premises, they were astounded to see crowds of people circled around the building. Some were even trying to climb up on the roof and find an alternative way inside.
“What shall we do now, Barry?” Asked Jenna. Barry smirked.
“You see, that’s the beauty of this situation. Don’t look at the crowds, look at these.” He held out the two tickets.
“Whatever happens; our seats have been reserved, thanks to me.” “I know how big a fan you are of Mickey Mcgoogal, so I booked these without you knowing about it.”
“Well,” Replied Jenna, “He is after all, an all-round entertainer. He sings, dances, tells jokes and does mimiks. He’s the best there is today.”
“True.” Said Barry and they made their way to the main gates where two security men blocked them.
Barry smiled and produced their tickets and the security men moved aside.
“You see, Jenna, how easy it is. Just imagine if we hadn’t purchased these in time.
“Oh my gosh.” Said Jenna. It’s 5.30 a.m. The show is going to start in just ten minutes. Come on , let’s hurry.” They moved along and came across the ticket lady. She clipped their tickets and tore her portion off and gave them theirs, ushering them to move on. As they neared the hall, they could hear the crowds applauding and talking amongst themselves. The excitement was mounting up for Mickey’s last show.
“Oh no!” Cried Jenna. “We forgot to buy the popcorn!” Barry looked at her, wide-eyed.
“Damn it! Now what??”
