Rapper’s posthumous releases near 10,000 mark.

Though he has been dead for over two centuries, rap artist Tupac Amaru Shakur continues to release records, dominate the charts, and rack up blingonium plaques. The dead rapper’s latest, Makaveli 9,864, will be released this June on his birthday. Makaveli was culled from studio outtakes and vocals laid by the rapper/actor/thug/revolutionary/troublemaker while he was still alive. Highlights include “Forever a Ridah,” “Don’t cry for me” and “Big Thug,” a duet with The Notorious B.I.G., who, like Shakur, was murdered at the end of the 20th century. The two rap together over a newly unearthed, vintage Swizz Beatz creation on which they claim that they are “The team of the decade like the Yankees.” When asked if the world indeed needs yet another Makaveli, a spokesbeing for Shakur’s estate said, “Tupac was a prolific entertainer and the world hasn’t grown tired of him yet. Besides, we’re still trying to pay off ‘Pac’s recoupable expenses from his couple of years at Death Row.”
