The event that made me believe.
The date; Thursday, August 28th, 2008. I was tired after 6 hours of band camp at my high school and my mother came to pick me up in her van so I could go home a get a good night’s sleep. She picked me up in her caravan and I, as some would say, “hopped” in for a ride. She drives the van for ten or so minutes, and around 9:20 PM, we stop at a stoplight next to a CVS and an adult book store. That moment is a moment I will never, ever forget.
I’m looking around. You know, I’m tired, bored. The sky is full of clouds, but at the moment I did not remember that (it rained a half hour previously.). Anyway, I look in the sky to see a bright object in the sky. It looked to me like Venus. So, I tell my mom, “Hey look! You can see Venus out tonight.” My mother responds, “That’s not Venus, it’s blinking.” “Huh…?” I mutter to myself. As true as it was, I thought nothing of it, thinking to myself, “It’s just a helicopter.” The light turns green and she continues driving down the road, making a right onto the street that I live on. “Mom! That helicopter’s pretty close to us, huh? It’s close, pull the car up farther!” She does, and we both notice something. It’s making no noise at all. Upon further inspection, we notice that the object, the U.F.O, Had four corners, almost like the star above Jesus when he’s born from the bible, and it appeared to be around 50-70 feet above the tree line. This thing, whatever it was, was moving at no more than 15 miles per hour, and appeared to be curving around us as if it was watching us. So, as any curious person would do, my mother pulled over and stuck her neck out with window. And before she has the chance to get a look at it, it flies away to disappear in the night sky in a matter of seconds.
That day I became a believer. There are, in fact, without a doubt, other life forms observing and attempting to communicate with us.
