About a little lad who did not want to listen to Mother.
Once upon a time, a little lad was bad to his mother. He didn’t listen to her command when he went outdoors to have some fun. His mother commanded him to wait and play by the gate, not to stray away from his residence beyond the gate, and past the pond. He did not care about what his mother told him so that he would be safe. So, he decided to venture far away from home way past the pond.
The little lad walked and walked. In doing so, he walked very far from his house. He noticed that he began to see the pond within the distance of his eye sight. But, he refused to turn around and return home. Instantly, he trotted past the pond and saw a little tail waving all around throughout the water. Next, he decided go back to the pond to check out what he saw. Hence, he reached over to touch the tail. Then suddenly, he grabbed the tail. As a result, he took the tail and picked it up out of the water.
The little lad went back home. He wanted to show off what he had found. He displayed the tail to his relatives consisting of his sister and mother. He told them accordingly, that he was going to cook the tail and prepare it as a meal. Together, his sister and mother yelled and said “no do not do it,” with all of their strength. However, they were wasting their breath and time. Refusing to listen to their efforts of conditional love and comfort, he chose the meal of a tail.
The little lad prepared the tail as a meal. Upon finishing his supper, he mentioned that it was quite delicious. Consequently, he did as usual when preparing for relaxation during bedtime. He brushed his teeth, took a bath, combed his hair, put on his pajamas, and jumped into bed. Well guess what happened next that night, a monster visited him in his room. The monster looked around to find his tail. He saw the little lad tucked inside his bed. Next, he went over beside his bed and sang these words to him very softly, “I want my tail again.” The monster continued to repeat these words in the song. He softly became louder and louder each time he spoke the words, “I want my tail again.” The little lad was the only one who could hear the monster. When the little lad finally noticed that his sister and mother were not ever going to come to his rescue, he felt uncomfortable in his bed.
The little lad was scared; he was so startled that he jumped right out of the window next to his bed. Then he panicked and rapidly climbed up a tree. In that case, the monster climbed the tree to capture the little lad. The monster hurled the little lad out of the tree down to the ground where he laid flat on his back. The monster swiftly reached inside the little lad’s belly and captured his tail again. All the while, the monster sang the song over and over again, “I got my tail again, I got my tail again.”
The moral of this short story: good things come to those who wait, but bad things show up right away.
