Another challenge, this one was with the words Omnipotent, Navy and Strength.

I straighten up again, as he lunges at me, his eyes glaring at me. I grin back into his pools of navy blue, ready to finish this. He runs at me, right hand pulling a previously concealed blade from his pocket, and I move forward, shaking my head slightly at the lack of wisdom. Before he can finish a wild thrust, I sidestep to his right, snapping my hands up with a blinding speed, and twisting so that we come to a halt, my arms now acting as a vice to hold my captive, and my hands twisting his blade toward him, fighting for control with him.

I finally speak to him, sensing I now have victory within my grasp. “A few words of advice…” I push with a surge of vigour; “never…give…me…the…upper..hand.” Smirking at the realisation creeping onto his face, I pull my hands back toward me, carrying his protesting grasp and the knife in our hands towards his utterly vulnerable chest. He only has time to utter a choked gasp before the blade cuts off his miserable life.

Feeling the life drain out of him, I sigh, then let him fall to the floor with a thump. I’ll be paid well for this hit, the clients in the city will be pleased to hear of my success; though I hadn’t expected anything else. I notice the animals watching overhead, and grin at them as if to say “hope you enjoyed the show.”

Reaching down to grasp the now cooling body of my foe, I begin the trek back towards my truck, where I can head back to the city, claim my bounty, and look forward to the next hunt. Before I reach my vehicle, I briefly turn back to the forest, sending it a fond look. “See you next time.”
