Bird Thief!!!

This guy is obviously a genius…

A Dutch traveller was caught trying to smuggle more than a dozen live hummingbirds in special pouches sewn into the inside of his underwear at Rochambeau airport in Cayenne, French Guiana. The birds were individually wrapped in cloth and taped up to prevent them from escaping.

The birds were unharmed, though they may need some bird trauma counseling to get over the fact that they were being hidden in someone’s underwear.

Flying bear!!!

Two Canadians died instantly in a freak accident when a car hit a 440-pound (200-kg) black bear and sent the animal flying straight through the windshield of an oncoming vehicle. The bear’s body hit the 25-year-old driver and a 40-year-old man sitting behind her and then shot out of the back window. The bear also died. The accident happened in a rural area about 25 miles north of  Ottawa.

Tiger on the prowl!!!

Police  in the UK are trying to find the owner of a life-sized stuffed tiger which triggered a major police alert in Hampshire over concerns that a real tiger was on the prowl. Officers were sent out and a helicopter with thermal imaging cameras scanned the area. The alert was raised by someone who saw through a camera what they thought was an escaped tiger hiding in a field. The toy is being treated as lost property.
