The sun was licking it’s firery toung along the horizen as night crept into the sky behind it. A bone chilling wind caused Molly to shiver and wrap her jacket tighter around her as she made her way down the street towards home. As the light faded into darkness Molly thought about Tom who was supposed to be there to pick her up from work. This wasn’t the first time he hadn’t come thru for her. Lately he was distant to her as if he didn’t care anymore. Molly was kicking around the idea of calling it quits with Tom or just trying to figure out if she wanted to invest anymore time into saving the relationship. she didn’t know what to do, for now she just wanted to get home and get warmed up. “I can’t wait till I earn enough money to get a car for myself and quit having to rely on that jerk to pick me up” Molly angrily mumbled to herself. The darkness from the night made her feel uneasy, she did not like being out after dusk by herself especially when it was so damn cold. Molly could see something large on the sidewalk in front of her. As she got closer she realized that it was a homeless man bundled up to keep warm. Molly hurried to the other side of the street to keep a safe distance from him. She felt guilty as soon as she got to the other side of the road “better safe than sorry” she thought to her self. Just then her thoughts were interrupted by screams from the homeless man and heart stopping growls coming from the other side of the road. When Molly looked back towards where he was she saw beasts tearing the mans limbs from his body, their fangs dripping with blood and carnage from their fresh kill. Molly froze in terror as she watched the dissection of this man. The beasts had him devoured in minutes crushing his bones and flesh with ease. Molly turned to run but there was a beast growling and snarling in front of her. There was no breath left inside her lungs to allow her the screams to escape her lips. She was starring into the beasts peiricing red eyes that were glowing in the darkness. The pungent stench of the beast burned her nose and made tears run down her cheeks. The best looked as if it was a black wolf with matted hair and mange coursing thru its body. It’s muscles protruding thru muscles rippling thru out its body. Molly suddenly felt a crushing blow as a beast jumped from behind her and tore the flesh from her hand as if it were a glove that she was wearing. At first she felt no pain as she looked at the bloody bones of her hand then the searing burning began. With every grab from the beasts they ripped chunks of molly’s body till there was nothing left of her but the blood staining the cold hard concrete where she was once standing. Molly’s family and friends searched for her and the police tried to find some trace, but she will forever be just another missing person lost in the cold dark night.
