“What does personality have to do with anything?”  

Ah yes, the infamous question.  Well, personality is a big factor in a person’s life.  if you’re a ditsy boy or girl or a shy, brilliant one, it matters.  When you have the right personality, making new friends will be a breeze!  But what exactly is a personality?  The dictionary definition of a personality is, “A set of qualities that make a person (or thing) distinct from another.”  

Then again, my personal definition of personality is that we’re all different.  Just like everyone else!  Confusing, yes.  Helpful, no.  So how does a person have an unique personality from everyone else?  A tough question to answer, but sometimes the hardest of questions have the simplest of answers.  So my answer for the question I just stated is to live your life like no one is watching.  (For those of you who don’t fully grasp that concept, what I mean is like this:  Live like the way you act around your best friend and your behavior would be considered normal.)

So if you’re naturally loud; be loud, but learn to be quiet.  If you’re naturally quiet; be quiet, but learn to speak up for yourself and others.  Play to your strengths but also be prepared to step outside your comfort zone.  I personally believe that if you learn that, you’ll be happy and more outgoing than you were before!  

As of now, I do not honestly believe that I have answered why personality has to do with anything in life.  But in fact, I have some more opinions to bore you with that might help a little.  Personality has to do with how people view you.  It’d be nice to be able for everyone to like you, but we all know that it is not humanly possible.  So do your best and all hard work will pay off in the long run.  Make friends everywhere because one day they’ll come in handy. 

Finally, your personality is unique and you’ll meet people who share similar personalities!  Make friends with people that may not necessarily have your views, but they will open your mind to all the new ideas and endless possibilities!  Be beware of cynical and negative personalities.  they will only drag you down in life.  So live long and prosper, and more importantly to be happy and have one big, fat, and happy personality!
