Sharing with you this short story which I once heard, about "Stupidity"

Just for laugh…

There were two rich men who were also very boastful.  One fine day, they met at the country club while having their spa session.  They had a casual talk while enjoying the spa.  Probably there were not much important issues to be discussed on that day and they had also taken their lunch, and very free, and they suddenly talked on a topic about “stupidity”.

Rich man A said “I have seen the most stupid man in the world, let me prove to you how stupid a person can be”.  He then called his servant A to come in.

“Here’s 100 dollars, quick, go and buy the original ”Monalisa” portrait for me”.  Servant A without asking further, answered “yes, Sir”, and he went off.

Rich man A proudly said, “so, you are convinced by me right, this is really stupid”.

Rich man B said “Yes, it’s indeed stupid, but I have seen the most stupid man in the world, let me show you”.  He then called his servant B to come in.

“Go home right now, check whether I am at home”.  Servant B probably already used to the master’s nonsense, calmly answered “I will do it right away”, and he went off too.

Rich man B boasted “see, this is what I call the real stupid, incredible right?”.  Rich man A was speechless….

That’s not the end of the story.

The two servants who were actually good friends, happened to meet while on the way to do their “stupid” missions.  They had a quick chat.

Servant A said “I have seen the most stupid man in the world.  He gave me $100, asked me to buy the original “Monalisa” painting, he must be really crazy.  Since he is stupid, don’t think he can differentiate the genuine or fake painting, I shall get one for him at my uncle’s shop right away”.

Servant B said “This is not the real stupidity, I have met one, the incredibly stupid man in the world.  He asked me to go to his house and check whether he is at home.  Obviously this man is insane, luckily I did not provoke him, I shall tell him later that he is not at home, that should be very easy”…

Moral of the above story :

Don’t always laugh at other people’s stupidity, in the eyes of others, we may be stupid too…

This is also a lesson about arrogance of the rich. Reminds me Paris Hilton and her friend….whats her face..in that show Simple Life. Very Good story!

Star, interesting story with good moral. It’s better not to comment on other’s stupidity because we always fail to see our own ones which can be worse.
