Crash

As it approached the atmosphere, the hull started glowing red, it could not escape the gravity.  With speed increasing, there was no escape.  It was caught and accelerating towards the ground.    Faster and faster it went until it suddenly stopped!  Hitting the ground, the impact resulted in a big explosion and a big hold.  Many trees and plants were destroyed.

There was a long silence until the door started to open.  Naked aliens appeared from the craft.   

I then asked my children if that was strange!  I also pointed to them that animals in the forest are also naked.

These aliens were shape shifters.  As the wondered around the crash site, they looked at the creatures and plants around, they started to transform themselves to look like the other creatures.  Some became birds, some became deers and it went on.  Still others ventured further and found some villages.  The observed the villages curiously.  These are the only creatures that seem to wear skins of other animals.    

After studying the villagers for sometime, a few of the aliens decided to transform into the humans.

Fast Forward

Many generations passed and many are not aware of their origin.   One day there was a very timid boy who was attacked by some school bullies.  The attacked somehow triggered something in the boy and caused him to grow an armor.  This frightened the bullies and they ran off.  

As the armor was triggered, it also sent out a distress signal to the alien planet.  It was requesting help, their citizen was under attack and need to be rescued.

Invasion

Preparations started on the home planet.  A big invasion force consisting of thousands of shift was assembled and launched heading towards Terra.  The alien planet was millions of light years away so no one on Terra was aware of the threat.

Alert

There was however a baby on Terra.  She had the vision of the approaching danger.  It was impossible for the infant to get help so she decided to seek help from her fellow kind.    She ran off in the middle of the night and into the forest and found another creature.  

At this point I asked my children what kind of animal would be best to help the baby!  After some guesses, they came up with a kangaroo since it has a pouch to carry the baby and help the baby travel.

The baby and the kangaroo continued their journey.  The next stop was to obtain an ancient medallion.    It was kept in a museum.    After the long trip from the forest, they reached the museum but could not enter – no pets allowed!   Tried as they did, the guard just would not let them enter the museum.

After a few attempts, they decided to seek out another being to help them.  They met with a homeless guy a few blocks away.  He was all dirty.

The Medallion

The homeless guy told them to wait until the museum closed before they sneak into it and get the medallion.   That night, they tried to find a way into the museum but all the windows and doors were closed.  The kangaroo jumped high up to reach the roof but still could not find a way in.

Finally, they found an opening, the homeless man was much stronger than he looked and was able to ply open the bars blocking one of the windows.  They went into the museum and found the medallion.   As soon as they touched the medallion, they were transformed.  

The homeless man became well shaved and clean.  The kangaroo turned into a stallion and the baby grew into a beautiful young lady.  

They then continued to the next part of their trip.  

Caught

Both the Girl and the man rode on the stallion to their next destination.  However, because they were riding on a horse through the city.  They looked very strange.  

The police was alerted and started chasing them in their police cars.  The horse could not run fast – with the weight of the man and the girl, they were stopped.

The police pushed and shoved but they could not get the horse into their patrol car.  They had no choice but to call for a truck to bring all three of them to the police station.  

The escape

As they were waiting for the truck, the girl got on the horse again and tried running away.  This time the man ran along side.  The police cars were closing in but then they stopped.  Everybody around stopped and stared.  The horse and the man started running on air – they were flying.  

That was how they were able to escape from the city and continue their quest to save the planet.   They continued flying deep into the forest.  When they reached their destination, they saw nothing but trees and plants.

The ship

They searched around and found nothing unusual but the forest.  As they searched, the medallion started to glow and the ground started to shake.    They were flung onto the ground.  The space ship made its first appearance after being buried in the ground for hundred of years.  

As it made it appearance, it also sent out a signal to all the descendants of the alien race on the planet.

The gathering

Hundreds of thousands of descendants started their exodus to the ship.  They came in all forms from animals, people, to plants and birds.    It was a slow and tedious journey for many especially those who turned to plants and trees.

As they all converged, many did not know why because it was just an urge and instinct to go to this spot.

Ancients

A few of the original aliens appeared at the gathering but could not get into the ship.  Too many were surrounding the entrance more out of curiosity.    Imagine having to wade through a crowd of a few hundred thousand plants, animals and people.  

The ancient alien needed a walker to help him walk and it was very difficult with the many creatures in the way.  Luckily as he approached, the people gave way for him.  As he approached the ship, he started shading his form.  Soon the path was filled with shed humanoid forms.  Each time he shed his form, he became younger and stronger.  

Military

The gathering did not go unnoticed, the armed forces also converged into the area thinking that the gathering were the forces that was planning an invasion.    The tanks and army surrounded the gathering and was planning to attack and subdue the creatures at the gathering.

Everybody was tense.  The ancestors of the aliens did not know why they had the urge to come to the spot and now they are surrounded by people intent on killing them!!  The military on the other hand were fearful because never in their training have they encountered such a big force consisting of people and animals.   For most of them this was the first time they were in a battle situation.

As the shooting started each of those gathered automatically triggered their armor and the ship in turn activated a shield between the crowd and the military.  

Message

While this was going on the ancient alien (who is does not look old anymore) approached the ship.    He realized that he did not have the key and was trying to find a way to enter the ship.  After sometime, the medallion was brought to him and he was finally able to access the ship.   

He sent out a message to the home planet to cease the invasion.  The home planet responded that they were under attack and the invading team are there to destroy the enemy and protect them.   He responded that many gathered know only Terra as their home planet and nothing else and to invade and destroy this planet was not acceptable.  They will handle the aggression themselves and do not need help.

Conclusion

The invasion has been avoided but they still have to content with the aggression outside the shield.  They came out with a plan.  Some of them would leave with the ship, others would shed some humanoid husk and disappear underground.  

It appears that the ship had taken off and the blast from the ship killed the remaining.    With that the military dispersed.  As far as they are concerned the danger is over – not realizing that the real danger was else where.
