A homeless woman gets an offer to live a comfortable life, only to find out there’s much more to it, maybe even her life.
” Well, heres the other clue.” I said.
” Lets go make something to eat first.” Dorthy said.
” Sure, I’m hungry.”
We walked down the hallway back to the kitchen.
” Well, now I think we need to read this next clue.” I said.
I opened the envelope and pulled the piece of paper out. It read, ‘ fine the advenger in running the river.’ Mr. Trump was right about the clues getting harder. Because I had know idea what it ment by a running river. As far as I know there is know river on this property. I’m going to have to sleep on this I guess and figure it out in the morning.
” I’m going to find a bed and lay my head down. I’ll see you two in the morning.”
I went up the huge staircase and I went to the second room and climbed in on the bed.
By morning I sat there thinking about the clue. I had to think and realized that it could be a book. I got up and went downstairs. The library was the best place to look for what I’m wanting. First I got to find all the books on rivers. Walking into the library I had forgotten that it was full of books. So, I would have to wait for Dorthy and Marge to come down.
I went and made coffee, sat down at the table andsippedat mycup full. I saw them making thier way down the hall. I waited tell they sat down with their cups.
” I want your help with going through the library. I need to find all the books on rivers.” I said.
When we got done with eating and our coffee. We went into the library. Each wall was covered in books. This was going to take us awhile to find what were looking for. It is a two story library. I went upstairs and they stayed downstairs. I will pull every book with river in the title in it, off the shelf first. Then, well, pull books that have a river mentioned. Looks like this could be a very long day and night.
I took a look outside and noticed that the sun was going down. I looked at the clock and it read ten o-clock. It was time to stop. We found plenty of books with river in the name but, none of them was it. There was no envelope in any of them. It was time for us to get something to eat and wait tell morning to finish going through the books. Getting hungry and getting tired was making that decision for me.
