Once upon a time two wild cats were born with the ability to outrun, climb and jump any other animals in the forest.

One of them (Dat) enjoyed using his ability and continued to train daily.  The other (Don) just ignored them, preferring to laze around.

One day there was a great flood in the valley where they stayed.  A great river of mud swept through the valley.  All the animals raced to safety but many were not fast enough. 

Dat & Don helped some of the cubs to safety but towards the end Don was too exhausted and got swept by the current.  Dat had more stamina from his training and managed to reach safety.

Dat was later elected to be the leader of the pack.
