Why is it that women feel the need to wear make up, perfume, dresses, have manicures and pedicures, have their hair fixed? To me it seems a bit vain to try to make yourself look different then to just be yourself. I want people to like me for me and not for what I have on my face or nails or how my hair looks. My thoughts are I’m not put on this planet to impress people I’m put on this planet to do what I am meant to do.  I know partially why women do these things: A: to make themselves feel better about themselves. B: To try to attract men. C: Because Hollywood says that’s the way to be. You don’t need make up, a sun tan, your hair dolled up, nails done or dresses to make you look good and feel good about yourself. The only thing you need is  whats on the inside and to know that you are you and no one can change that. I don’t care how many plastic surgeries you have done or breast implants done or how much make up you wear. It will not change the fact you are you and no one else. I don’t believe in make up or any of that stuff. I am who I am and no one can change that. women need to stop trying to impress every one with all the glam and glitter. Men need to learn to except women for how they look and appreciate what they have instead of what they want a women to look like. You don’t need big breast or a face lift any of that stuff to be accepted. Altering your body and getting tans be it from the sun or a tanning bed  does not help your body sure it makes you look good for a while but as you get older it takes a toll on your body and damages it.  Women come in many shapes and sizes people need to learn to appreciate that. Men are the same way they altar their body for women and women need to learn to appreciate a man for what they have and not what they want him to be. It goes both ways! I have found that allot of men not all men want a girl next door type of woman, not a dress up doll for a women. I have found that allot of men don’t want to wait 3 hours for their lady to put make up on, do their hair and decide on a dress to wear. Allot of men find it attractive for a women to wear a pair of jogging pants and t-shirt. or pair of shorts.  Yes some men like the doll type women and some men want their women to dress up here and there but not all the time.  I wear my hair in a bun or a pony tail with pants and shirts that’s what I wear. every once in a while I throw on a dress and a very small amount of make up ( like foundation, and lip gloss) that is the extent of my make up.  People need to learn it’s not your looks that get you places in life (most of the time it’s not) It’s your personality.
