A son causes confusion at the wedding of his sister.

One old man because of his sickness could not attend his daughter’s wedding ceremony. He wrote out a portion in the bible (1 John 4:18) and gave it to those who could attend the ceremony. It was given to his son who is a renowned politician. The instruction says that the priest should read out the portion of the Bible (1 John 4:18). This politician thought in himself that his father made a mistake by adding one (1) to John. He said to himself “The Book of John does not have first John; the only one I know is John. Well it’s a pity papa!” He rewrote the portion of the Bible to John 4:18. 1 John 4:18 reads: ‘There is no fear in love, but perfect love casteth out fear: Because fear hath torment”…

The priest got the note and read the portion of the Bible John 4:18 instead of 1 John 4:18. John 4:18 reads: “For thou has had five (5) husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not the husband: in that saidst thou truly”.  The Bride on hearing this fainted and was rushed to the hospital. What was the state of the guy (Groom)?
