But Don’t Leave Without a Kiss Goodbye.
Yes, that’s what I said. This is what happens when you stop paying rent or spiral into a self destructive abyss. When the cops are called every other day and the neighbors get tired of endless laughter and gun shots, you end up being evicted. Blame only yourself. But it’s natural to be upset. The landlord understands that this is an inconvenience to you and most likely he don’t even care. All that greedy snake ever wanted from you was money anyway. How typical of people…he could have let you kick it there for free…but no! Not him…he had to make this all about money. Now…I don’t know about you, but I’m all about compassion and good will. So forget about whatever you promised him when you moved in. That was all just a formality. He should have been more understanding. You have to leave now and surely there must be some way to express how hurt and disrespected his greed and intolerance have caused you to feel. He is oppressing you…He is the Devil…(Picture Bill O’Reilly and keep up with me here…)

He is not going to give back the deposit! It’s all a con game to squeeze you for a few hundred more from the moment you move in! He had no intention of ever giving it back. It doesn’t matter how well you treated the place or how many times you shampooed his so-called carpets. Face it, he meant to cheat you from day one! Now…having said that, forget about the windows that were (sometimes) accidentally broken and all the holes you knocked in the wall…he was out to rob you the whole time. Forgive yourself immediately for the drug bust and missing air conditioner or whatever lame excuse he’s using for this fiendish act of treachery. You are the victim here. So pack up what you want to take and destroy everything you leave behind. He’s hoping for some bonus material to sell off or take home. Here are a few suggestions to make so long a little easier to feel good about.
