I’ve recently came across a poem that my 84-year-old mother submitted to the Saturday Evening Post when she was a teenager. The poem was rejected, but I’d like to show her that she has been published. Since that time, her home town of Grapevine, Texas, has grown in size since it is the location of the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport.
