The year went by, and now we are in a new year, a new decade, a new era!

This article will be about the different worlds (first, second, third) and how we want to help each other. It will also be about the ways we do this, and what’s wrong about it.

This is a poem remembering what had happened last year, 2009. As a daughter, it answered the questions, what did I do to make my family happen and what did I do that made them sad. As a student, what were the techniques I used to maintain my high grades and cope with the pressure of being a valedictorian and full pledge scholar? As a citizen of my country, what did I felt when some of my brothers and sisters were in grief and mourning about losing their families in Maguindanao massacre? All these a expressed and answered in a figuratively dense poem, entitled Brought Back to Life.

Year 2009 – In a Nutshell.

I figured this would be a great opportunity to step back take a look at the year and just say what in the world….So sit back enjoy and don’t be afraid to laugh the government isn’t watching.

I am not a yogi or an evangelist. Take note of that. And, this is just a reflection.
