A haiku.

A kick in the teeth or ribs so to speak.

This is a poem that I wrote about the second battle of Fallujah in September of 2004, in which Marines took Fulljah, Iraq a major battle that was very important. There was another battle in April that was the first set of personal hells that these Marines took, but had to retreat, and came back in September and took it.
