This child was a news item sometime between Aug. 1988 and March 2002. I didn’t catch the correct spelling of her last name and having issues of my own didn’t write down the date. At least now there is the “Amber Alert” when a child comes up missing, and they’re starting to crack down on these people.

Involving abduction and cake – and an unreliable narrator.

This is a story that will make you question everything you told your kids about strangers. But most of all, it will make you question if they really listened and got what you said. I know that’s what I felt the day it happened.
