Adversity.

This is a poem about a woman’s take on her life; a bearing of her soul. It’s about living through adversity and finding her way.

My college personal statement for University of Arizona Admission. I spent a lot of time on it, and my high school counselor said it was pretty good. So I decided, why the heck not.

The quintessential leader makes those around him better. If he accepts mediocrity, it is to his own detriment. If he sits idly, the first step he takes will lead to nowhere.
