A poem about my struggle with alcoholism.

How bad it to allow yourself so much pain because of alcohol and what it does to your life.

Kind of inspired by the film Hard Candy.

A True Story:

Last year, one of my friends that does drugs got me to try weed for the first time. I tried it, it made me feel weird and I felt like I could do anything I couldnt do before.

I had been drinking a very high amount of alcohol which infected my body with poisoning because I was drinking alcohol faster than my liver could digest it. My friend and I are 14 years old, and we decided to experiment with alcohol.

So I’m 13. I had not a horrible life but not a good life. I decided that I wanted to drop out of school. But I couldn’t tell my mom I wanted to drop out so instead of saying hey mom can I drop out I lied to her and said I wanted to do online school and that I would do my school work.

A short story about a man who doesn’t even let the delusional effects of alcohol get in the way of his love for his wife.
