The story behind my poetry…

I wrote this in November 2005 when I first started my eatting disorder I got diegnosed with anorexia and bulimia and im still fighting it today. this poem shows some of the things that were going on in my mind at the time and the feelings i’ve felt.

This is not a poem. These are just thoughts.

A story for anyone suffering from anorexia nervosa. This is not a true story, but could be the story of anyone struggling with this problem.

A poem I have just written exploring how anorexic triggers seem to not have such an impact anymore. How I can choose how to react to the triggers.

A poem about life for anorexic sufferers.

I wrote this for an Art and Poetry exhibition in Derby as part of Eating Disorder Awareness Week 2009.
