A poem I wrote out of anticipation..

I hate being kept in suspense.

32 of 50 haiku poems written on Friday, July 1, 2011 to document the day my husband had surgery. Each haiku deals with something that was around me that day from the time I left that morning until we were home and finally went to sleep.

A letter to you. Remember me?

I saw a little girl in church write "I’m ready for summer" over and over on a page in a note book. That got my mind going.
