The Prologue and the first two chapters of a story I am currently writing.

Third chapter of my latest novel, Hunter of the East which is a sequel to Daughter of the Morning (which I may yet upload.) The story starts sometime after the first book and although Ceri may not wish it, her Destiny is already becoming manifest.

With the death of her parents, Tori learns she is gifted and is a direct descendant of the High Priestess of Avalon and Merlin. Upon her parents death, the powers of old were unleashed upon the earth once more and the dark ones are intent upon world domination.It is Tori’s destiny restore balance between the light and dark. Will she be able to accomplish this or will she be seduced by dark magic and plunge her world into everlasting darkness?

The storied and historic Casino on Catalina Island is the world-renowned icon that reminds us that during the dark days of the Great Depression, there still existed a desire for fun and frivolity.
