I watched a news item on how Halloween is becoming almost as important as Christmas to some stores in sales with sales of decoration, candies, costumes and other things which go along with the day. It got me thinking how there are more days than people might realize that kids look forward to for gifts. I remember being thrilled to get special things at the beginning of school.
