When you go to Paris in France you can see the Arch of Triumph which is a monument in honor of the victory of 1944 which put an end to the Second World War. The Arch of Triumph is called l’Arc de Triomphe in French or Etoile Charles De Gaulle. Etoile means Star which is also given to the ballet dancers of the famous school in Paris and Charles De Gaulle was President of France until his resignation in 1969.
