Poem.

The carnival is over.

Dedicated to Marcus Burton – know thy name.

There is a fruit that all yearn for, and whether we know it or not, we will strive against everything to attain it.

Here winter is described as more of a hesitation and pause between other, perhaps more respectable seasons.

There is a wall, a retaining wall, along the beach in West Seattle, where I enjoy the actions of the waves as they come in with full force and throw their fury. The ocean spray from this is fantastic, and I fully embrace it, even getting drenched sometimes, but it is fun!
