Victory…

This is a poem about a woman who was beaten and broken by her husband yet finds the courage and strength to leave him and move on.

Ah, the joys of imagination…at least, I hope this is imagination.

We all want different things. some are the most basic to life.

A poem of love and hate.

The night was silent, the moon hidden; the stars had fled along with the wind. The silence screamed through the impenetrable darkness. There was a stillness about the night that had dogs cowering into their cages with their tails between their legs and cats slinking beneath tables. The beasts as well as the elements seem to perceive that the night was like no other, how right they were!

A story about betrayal and distrust. The atmosphere is tense so I try to lighten it up a bit with the names- Tom, Dick and Harry. Enjoy!
