After working out with the workbook Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer, I decided to write my own reflection for the process of my own healing.

Staring death in the eyes this soldier is not scared because he is filled with pride knowing he is doing what needs to be done to ensure our country’s way of life for generations to come.

Sometimes torments from life’s extreme circumstances feel like a battle that will never end. Most bystanders do not understand this fight for freedom. To give in is to lose your dignity.
