Written after listening to "Address In The Stars" by Caitlin & Will, about my ex who chose to have a "public" gf and then have me…….. but never acknowledge that we were dating even though I had him before her….

Shhh, it’s a secret.

Saying nigga is tellin the oppressors they did a good job opressing the recently oppressed
But by not saying it tells them: they got to us but we never got stressed
A five letter "B" word thats often misused, was a woman in slavery that would perform a medical act
They try to tell us its a female dog but it aint quite like that
Jigga is a man that would DANCE
they would beat him, throw stuff at him and even take his pants
Why we still use these derogatory words I don’t know
but we need to eradicate um and let um go.
