This song / poem is about a friend. She’s a real sweet girl, but ended up choosing other guys who were abusive. We came close to going out as a couple many times, but it never happened. We’re still friends, but I can tell that she’s been abused by men and is walking on egg shells. I’ve learned from books and experience that abusive women tend to keep going out with abusive men. My friend finally woke up, yea. This composition is about what I felt from her and a little of how I felt at the time.

Black cats are so misunderstood. Scary witch cats, bad luck, we are really not that way at all! We are cute, soft, friendly and loveable. Take one minute and listen to our story and you’ll be a believer.
