This poem was written some time ago and I never got around to finding the time publishing it. This came off of a certain image that I saw when I was out and about in my hometown of Brooklyn and it gave me that sense in which was the inspiration to this poem. I’ll leave it to the reader. Continue ReadingIn this third installment of Fire Starter I decided to write about how social workers can destroy a child’s life more than help it. I’ve talked to a lot of families and people who have had quite a bit of problems with the state getting involved with parent’s deciding how to punish thier children. It’s my 1st ammendment right to write this story and any story in my heart that feels it needs to reach the light of day. Jerry August captures the social worker that was responsible for destroying his family and making him who he is. I don’t think I have to say much more.
