People born with both male and female genitalia do exist in Kenya, as is the case in the rest of the world. In Kenya, such people keep secret their condition. Later in life, they realize that, whereas they were brought up as boys, for example, they’d like to change their gender identity. This is a very costly affair, going for well over US$8,000.00. There are a lot of challenges faced by such people. This is a fictional story, highlighting just a few of the challenges they face.
