This is a true story going back to when I would have been about nine or ten years old.

I have always loved animals and as a little girl they became very important members of my family.

Their love was unconditional and they did not play mind games like many people did.

A poem about promises.

Sometimes it’s better to quietly enjoy somebody.

It is the least I could do.

You just want to be heard.
