I wrote this for the Carolina Hurricane’s 10th anniversary in Raleigh, North Carolina. Ten years ago they were called the Hartford Whalers and in Connecticut. At this time Glen Wesley was the only Whaler still playing on the team.

A joyous celebration of the night, storms, dancing naked in the moonlight, freedom of spirit and the smell of the earth just before the rain comes.
