A short story to celebrate China’s 60th birthday.

This is a poem about a celebration.

Birthdays seem to weigh a lot more with every new one. I will be having another one in August so I thought I would share a little of my birthday traditions.

Long overdue.

Memories of Mom.

It was a very beautiful and memorable day and as Mother of the Bride I was filled with many mixed emotions. I realised that you only have your children for a short while and then they move on with their lives.

She’s Always On My Mind!

My granddaughter Liana had a difficult first year but she has grown into a very outgoing and confident four year old who is big sister to her 22month old brother Jaidyn.

This sums up the sometimes difficult times we can experience with our loved ones and the bond of love that unites us.

This poem was written to give a brief overview of my father’s life. I read the poem to him on his birthday and Dad and the family enjoyed it immensely. Hope you enjoy it too!
