Holy shit. I didn’t see that there before. It was huge. It was the size of my palm. It was black. It was brown. It was terrifying, so terrifying that I couldn’t even get a good look at it.

Second in the series, this chapter also comes with an illustration. These chapters were born out of the Duffy reading challenge and will hopefully continue. There are twelve already written, and one on the way.

The sun shines brightly in front of me, casting a long shadow behind me. My wet shirt was stuck to my back, making me feel extremely uncomfortable. But I could not have been bothered with that, not after seeing that vision in the crystal ball. My mind was filled with thoughts of what I just saw, such that on several occasions, I nearly to bumped into some people on my way. School suddenly seemed very far away despite the fact I was already rushing that on my top speed.
